So, some of you MAY notice that I posted this photo yesterday, as my “Day 6/30”
however! In an attempt to properly organize my “Days” on my blog, I foolishly deleted the post.
And it was lost into the abyss
forever
So, I’m posting it again
However, this evening, I am unfortunately NOT feeling as lyrically savvy so, I’m sorry. But you’ll have to do with the brief summary of this photo
(well, as “brief” as brief can be for me)
This is Mos Def, and he is performing as one half of the spellbinding lyrical genius that is Blackstar
in front of a crowd of approximated 300 people
at The Aloha Tower Waterfront
in Honolulu, HI
and I,
was there
right there
like, literally, RIGHT THERE
and it was F*&(ing AMAZING
I can’t even begin to describe it
I just, vibrated
it was so amazing
to be that close to greatness, to brilliance, to INSPIRATION
uuggh, it was,
amazing
and I didn’t want it to end
but, all good things…as they do
I’m glad I decided to go, and I will credit Garrett Lawton for giving me that last little kick in the ass that I needed to make me decide to buy a ticket last minute and have one the best nights of my life in recent months
